About This Service Provider Training

It is estimated that 4% of Canadians have FASD. It is a hidden and lifelong whole-body disorder resulting from prenatal alcohol exposure. Symptoms may be mistaken for behavioural or mental health challenges. This training will teach participants what FASD looks like across the lifespan for individuals and families, and how to adopt a trauma-informed sense or use FASD specific strategies.
